Background
Tracey Taylor can be considered a veritable guru of Chicago Real Estate. Since the advent of his career in 1991 he has taken the real estate scene by storm and has established a name for himself not only locally, but on a national level, as well. Over the past 17 years, he has sold millions of dollars in real estate and founded two brokerage firms. Though he has across-the-board real estate experience, his area of expertise is in foreclosures and short sales.
Though his business endeavors are certainly commendable, his real success story has more to do with the role that he has played in the community. Since 2001, Tracey has served the Real Estate Association on the local, state, and national level. He presently serves as the Treasurer for the Chicago Association of Realtors and Director for the Illinois Association of Realtors. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors, and presently acts as the Nationally Appointed FPC to Senator Barack Obama. He is also the 2nd Vice President on the Dearborn Realtist Board.
Tracey is a firm believer in civic involvement and leading by example. He is the Chairman of Housing for the Bronzeville Chamber of Commerce and participates in several community service organizations including Access Living Coalition “Helping the Disabled Become Homeowners”, GAP Community Organization, and The Blackstar Project Program- a mentoring program for the Chicago Public School students. He also has co-authored a teen-parent help book entitled Straight Up with his sister, Dr. Elizabeth Taylor.
