In 2008, although the City of Chicago real estate market sales were DOWN 26.5% from 2007, The Mario Greco Group’s sales were UP 16%. Mario Greco has been in the top 1% of all Chicago Realtors® every year since he started selling real estate, amounting to over $600 million worth of real estate since 2002. In 2007, he was named the #1 agent in the entire city of Chicago for condo/townhome resales , #2 full-service Chicago agent in total dollar volume sold, #2 full-service Chicago agent in total number of transactions completed . Also in 2007, Mario was awarded the Chicago Association of Realtors’® Platinum Award for Volume and the Gold Award for Number of Units Sold. Mario is a regular guest real estate expert on “Fox News in the Morning,” and has been interviewed as a leading industry professional in Crain’s Chicago Business, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Realtor Magazine, Metro Chicago Real Estate, Chicago Social, and for a cover story in Real Estate Executive Magazine.
Mario founded his own realty firm while still a senior Intellectual Property Litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis. After founding Greco Realty & Brokerage, LLC, Mario left the active practice of law to pursue a full-time career in real estate. His company grew to four agents and was acquired by a large, well-recognized Chicago real estate company in September 2002. Mario ended 2003 as the #2 producing individual agent of that franchise in Illinois and #38 in the country, having sold over $40 million worth of real estate in his first full year in the business. He has been the top producer at Rubloff since his arrival in 2003.
Mario now leads The Mario Greco Group at Rubloff. He and his team specialize in representing clients who purchase and sell condos, townhomes, single-family homes and income property within the city of Chicago.
