An agent with Rubloff Residential Properties, the Premier urban residential real estate company in Chicago, Matt utilizes today’s technology to give buyers and sellers an edge in a highly competitive market. His areas of specialization include marketing condominiums, town homes, single-family residences and Investment properties.
“Buying or selling a home becomes more emotionally charged each year, as state and federal laws about contracts and disclosures evolve,” says Matt. “The process can be very stressful, and lowering the anxiety level is an important part of my job. I keep the lines of communication open and focus methodically on the details of each transaction. Achieving the highest number of transactions annually is not my goal. I want to do the best job possible for each buyer and seller I work with, because I prefer my business to grow through referrals. My clients’ success determines my success.”
Matt was elected to the board of Governors for the Realtor Institute of Illinois and was recently named Dean of the GRI Program (only 1 of 2 from the Chicago Association of Realtors® in the entire history of the program) and served as the Chair for the Working Group for Realtor institute, recently completing a term of 6 years. He has been elected to the REEF committee (Real Estate Education Foundation for the Illinois Association of Realtors), has been nominated and is serving the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) Finance Committee, and is a mainstay on the Professional Standards and Ethics committee as a chairperson for hearings on ethics and arbitration for the CAR, NSBAR & RANWC boards for many years. Matt is a NAR and local board Certified Mediator.
To increase his value to clients, Matt earned several professional designations: the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) and CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CRS (Council of Residential Specialists). He is also QSC (Quality Service Certified), a member of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, and is a member of the National, State and Chicago boards of REALTORS®.
Matt is a graduate of Michigan State University with Bachelor’s degree in the College of Business, School of Hotel, Restaurant, & Institutional Management. He is a Chicago Metropolitan resident and native. Matt is a runner, hiker, in-line skater and a sailor. His other leisure activities include reading, cooking, exercise training and following college and professional sports.
