Background
Considered a leading lady of Chicago-area fund raising and philanthropy, Beverly has helped raise millions of dollars for important charitable institutions, and just finished a three-year term as president of the costume Committee of the Chicago Historical Society. Currently, she is Treasurer of the Chicago branch of the English Speaking Union, and is actively involved in the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's annual fashion show, of which she is former chair. Her many previous affiliations include serving as chair of the annual Goodman Theatre Women's Board Benefit, a position she has held twice, and as a chair of the first AIDS benefit in the city of Chicago, "Show of Concern", which took place in 1987, raising over $2 million.
