newer condominiums and duplexes. The Bronzeville and Kenwood
communities include landmark districts of homes and commercial
buildings dating from the late 1800s. Once a lively nightlife area for
blues and jazz music, Bronzeville produced and hosted renowned artists
from Nat King Cole to Muddy Waters.
